H is for Heron Hi, I'm a Heron. My long legs and beak make me quite distinctive. I'm extremely patient, standing still for hours while I search for food. You'll find me on the waters edge of rivers, lakes, shallow sea water and sometimes your garden pond – as fish are my favourite food. And if you see me flying, don't worry I'm not a bird of prey, I'm just mistaken for one given my size.

Colour
We have gone to extraordinary lengths to make sure that the digital reproductions are as close as they can be to our printed reproductions. But there maybe a slight difference in colour. The good news is they look even better in print.
